'Trinette' is the most delicate looking of the Schefflera species, but is actually a tough, highly adaptable plant outdoors for zones 9-10 or as an EXCELLENT houseplant anywhere

In sun 'Trinette' looks like this

You see bright waxy leaves with naturally shiny foliage and plenty of color contracts with greens & yellows and sometimes shades of white.  You see 7 leaves and no two are alike making for endless interesting combinations and contracts

But wait, 'Trinette' also is very nice in far less light, in persistent shade or almost anywhere indoors

Notice the leaves are larger in shade (or indoor).  Also, you see more yellow and white tones

Here's a whole bed of 'Trinette' outdoors in almost 100% shade and you still see an amazing amount of color and thickness of the foliage

The common tree Schefflera actinophylla is on Florida's "DO NOT PLANT" list and is recommended to remove if you own one outdoors.  A major reason is the roots are aggressive, get to be invasive and destructive

Totally the opposite is the lovely, delicate, dwarf and versatile Arborcola 'Trinette'

As a houseplant you can't beat the ease of 'Trinette'.  Your Arborcola 'Trinette' is long-lived and will grow for many years with almost no care, including indoors

You can prune lightly over time to encourage a shrub-like appearance or train into a tree form.  It's all up to you what look you want to have

Ordinary sandy soil is OK, no pests, moderate occasional water,, a little food...it doesn't get any easier than that.  You'll feel like a grower instead of a plant killer with Arborcola 'Trinette'
