What you see above are not really "flowers" but bracts (like Bougainvillea vines).  Below is a picture of bracts and you can see the actual yellow flower at the top of the pic

Mussaenda may be a rather small to medium shrub, or large to 20 feet or so, like a small tree (very rare to see such size in Florida)

However, Mussaenda's natural habit is to produce many stems and it is quite a rambler. More stems would also mean more flowers for you

Plant as a specimen and the best location is lots of sun with wind protection throughout zone 10.  A SE or SW or full West location are all suitable to develop the best presentation.  Evergreen in the tropics but usually deciduous or semi-deciduous over winter in Florida, pick a location where your Mussaenda can "pop out" of your landscape in season
